Today was an exciting one. We were able to get the codes all sorted out, culprit being a bad cam position sensor. The more exciting part however, is we had the opportunity to test @rsfuture’s proto aero package for the GR86. Equipped with a wing and splitter, it was game on, time to get down.

The stars aligned and to our surprise, we had Buttonwillow entirely to ourselves. Aside from the looming of creeping heat, couldn’t ask for better test conditions. Out of the gate the car was fantastic. The addition of the splitter provided excellent balance — extremely stable in high speed sectors without any unwanted push. GR owners, without a doubt this is the right pair when it comes to aero. 

We concluded the (short) day with a 1:56.9 lap and accomplished the goal we were looking for, issue free.
