2012 Testing and development of the 1971 McLaren M8E CanAm car at QLD Raceway. Ex Vic Elford. Owner Duncan MacKeller. Driver Paul Stokell. New Sprint circuit lap record of 49.3 sec. With more improvements and new tyres car could be another 2 sec faster! This is one weapon of a car. Respect to the guys that used to race these wheel to wheel around the undulating road circuits in America.. Ballsy!
