Between the two on laps, 2:21 and 2:20... it was a 2:18.902. I had to pass 2 cars on my fastest lap... hate when that happens...please note that I only post start/finish lap times but in this case, the theoretical lap is spot on since I had to be strategic on passing that MX5. I also had a passenger and horrible track conditions. Light is reflecting off the dust on track, that's why the video gets washed out. I used a different GoPro though and low light/pro tune was on.
Also, COTA just had a team re-level the track surface. Back to square one at this track. The track was pretty dirty and has zero rubber now. If you look at my 2:15 video in the Corvette from a few weeks ago, you can see the track surface differences.
Lets talk about the laser shifting Performante, holy mother is it unreal. I love everything about it. It didn't like when we delayed the downshifts in the heavy brake zones but you had to implement a downshift pattern and time it well. Car was on Trofeo's, I honestly think the Corsa is better but I will report back on that. The sensations you get in this car can barely be matched. What a machine!
