bro Allan from BMW Eurokars was kind enough to give me a chance to try X3M Competition. this is the first taste of S58 for me… and i can tell i am gonna like it. i am so shocked with how it deliver the torque… well splitted and distributed with minor correction. the behaviour is predicatable and very BMW like… and most importantly is the steering feedback improves from F series… remarkable… the load and the resistance mimics the conventional better…
i only had one hot lap and its already enough to see the car’s potential… another 2 laps, this car would probably either doing 1:45 or on the gravel… so i think the bigger picture is, with mild driving, 1:47.17 is a testimony on how much faster this car can be with proper driver
not much to fault… except for the beake fades… despite the brakes, if i was blindfolded entering the cae and i drove it right away, i won’t even expect i am driving a tall SUV… well done BMW M division. thank you again bro Allan Haryanto. please contact him for full hospitality and great humble service for all your M powered BMW questions +62817177599
