Round 3 of NZ Superlap 2022, at Manfeild.
First session, unfortunately the alternator decided to exit stage left. I'm pretty sure the damage was done at Pukekohe from the bumps and curb at turn 2. Then turn 3, at Manfeild, finally finished it off. It showed up as the coolant temperature suddenly shooting up. So that was the rest of the day removing that and finding a small belt just to run the coolant pump.
We did get it back out for the final session of Saturday. Lots of rush, rush, and not being sure whether the battery would last the whole session, lead me to pushing to hard, to early. As you can see the car was loose, the rear was just a little to stiff and again pushing to hard.
The crash wasn't to bad. The damage looks worse than what it really was. It's fixable, but still takes time. It should be all good to go for Hampton Downs, end of May.
