Dec. 29, 2021 laps on the new Yas Marina layout of the GP Circuit in an Aston Martin GT4, and Porsche GT3MR & GT3RS.
1st time in an Aston Martin and long time since I had an instructor using sign language to communicate in the noisy car😁. Hard to judge the car in 1 lap but nevertheless it was a cool experience.
The Porsche laps were different. I somehow managed to encounter a TurboS on almost all of my laps in the GT3MR & the GT3RS. In day light and at night during the 7-hour window😁.
Totally beyond worn out tires on the MR so limited to just a handful of laps and the RS on tires’ last track day.
As usual it was fun driving this new layout (I’m now sold on Yas), and thr dinner catering was the highlight of this track event.
