First time out at SMSP with the I20N at a driving solutions track night on 17/10/23.

I was keen to see how the car would go and how my driving would be at a high speed circuit in a FWD. Having hundreds of laps here in RWD I knew the course but adapting lines, braking points etc to a FWD layout and a much lower grip level car was fun. 
I think my driving style is finally shifting and I really focused on trail braking through the corners. This led to a few spins in the first session as I figured out where the grip levels were but I'm finally getting the rear to rotate with ease.

I ended the night with a 1:52.86, a decent lap time but there's certainly a 1:51 in it as is. The lap after this I was 0.8 up in the first two sectors but coming into the last corner the chequered flag came out. In hindsight I should have ignored it and finished that lap but it was only session 2 and I figured I would go faster later on. Patchy showers and overall inconsistent driving from myself proved this to be wrong. There were plenty of green sectors in later sessions but no overall lap time. With an optimum lap of 1:51.67 on racechrono, going forward I want to focus on improving my consistency over a whole lap in this car but that'll come with more experience. 

Keen to try and work towards getting under 1:50 now so I'm going to throw the front camber bolts in and get the car aligned and head back, hopefully before N fest in December.

One other thing I've noticed the past few track days is racechrono being a bit patchy even with my 10hz transponder. The overall lap time is spot on with official timing/in car lap timer but watching the speeds, time delta, Gs etc it's just all over the place. I'm wondering if maybe the transponder is just old now and I should replace it or maybe there's a bug with racechrono itself? Not sure but something to look into.
