BMW F82 M4 - Street Class - Global Time Attack presents Super Lap Battle, 2024 edition. SLB 2024 took place at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) for the 6th year in a row and I decided this was the year to enter Street Class with my M4. The car is under-prepared for the full scope of the rules in Street Class, and by that I mean it is underpowered (top cars in the class running 700+ hp), and under-aero'd (I'm running OEM M4 GTS wing and splitter vs. much larger wings/splitters on the top cars in the class). But regardless, I was there to see how I could stack up to the competition and tried to meet my own personal goal of running a 2:25. I ended up with a 2:25.1 and managed 8th of 18 drivers in Street. Not too bad at all for my first time at COTA and SLB. Cannot wait until next year!
