Ce qu'il faut retenir de ce comparatif:
On aurait pu penser qu’un pilote professionnel de la trempe de Soheil Ayari privilégierait l’efficacité et ferait gagner la A45 AMG, or il n’en est rien. Dans les conditions de notre reportage (froid et piste mouillée), la Mercedes fait parler sa puissance, mais cela ne suffit pas. Notre pilote maison a finalement donné sa préférence à la Focus RS en raison de son comportement nettement plus joueur. La cause est donc entendue. D'autant plus que sur une route de montagne, la Focus serait, selon lui, nettement plus performante que la Mercedes. Victoire finale donc de la Focus.
