Big Willow is scary. Last time I was here was in the A90 back when it was stock with just lowering springs and I did a 1:37.8. I was able to shave off 5 seconds and set a new PB, but boy was I fighting for it. This lap time isn't fast at all, but I was all that I had in me this day. The car was so unstable because of how bumpy the road is, which didn't give me much confidence. On top of that, I had some weird fuel-cut issues into turn 1, where I'd go into limp mode and the car would only come back to life by the time I was at the omega. But these are all excuses, and the bottom line is that I wasn't brave enough to stay on power through Turn 8, lifted when I shouldn't have, missed most apexes, and was braking too early. So many issues with my technique that this video shined a giant spotlight on.
But this is why we put in as much seat time as we can! So we can learn from our mistakes. Excited to try this again when the car has it's full aero!
