Manfeild Full International

Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon is a motor racing circuit located in Feilding, New Zealand. The circuit was built by the Manawatu Car Club in 1973 as a purpose-built course, with the first event being held that same year. The name 'Manfeild' was derived from 'Manawatu' (the region) and 'Feilding' (the town). Brian Green won the first race held at Manfeild in late 1973. In 1990, extra land was acquired and the circuit was extended to 4.511 km, bringing Manfeild up to international standards.

The design of the superfast layout was overseen by famous Ferrari-associated racer Chris Amon, who grew up locally, and the banked corners are a unique feature for a New Zealand motor-racing circuit. The circuit was renamed Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon on November 25, 2016, in honor of the former New Zealand Formula One driver. In 1988, Manfeild hosted the finale of the inaugural World Superbike World Championships, with World Superbikes returning in 1992. The circuit has held the New Zealand Grand Prix on seventeen occasions (1992-1995, 2008-2020), and continues to host touring cars, superbikes, and Formula 5000 heritage racing events.
