2019: The R8 LMS Evo was introduced as an upgraded version of the second-generation R8 LMS GT3. 2020: Minor updates focused on further improving durability and reliability. Audi introduced slight adjustments to the braking system to optimize heat dissipation and pad longevity, beneficial in endurance racing scenarios. 2021: No significant mechanical changes, but Audi offered additional customization options for teams to adjust setups more precisely based on different race series’ requirements. 2022: The R8 LMS Evo II was launched, featuring several key upgrades over the original Evo. Aerodynamic revisions included a redesigned rear wing with improved adjustability for greater downforce control and a reworked front section to enhance airflow efficiency. The suspension received new four-way adjustable dampers, allowing teams to tailor settings even more precisely to track conditions.
