The 11th race of the year burning money racing found themselves with some luck. The GT3 championship leading team Gourley went out with a problem and we were poised to make up some huge points and potentially put in a battle for the championship to the last laps on Sunday. AS we were pushing hard to make each lap count and claw back the points disaster struck and we found ourselves in the pits with a problem ourselves and not able to capitalize. The driver side outer ball joint sheared clean through and the wheel was free to do as it pleased. This was a suspected result of the curb hop that was part of the start of race #9 earlier on the weekend. We were able to repair the damage and head back out for a couple laps to test out the car and all felt fine. Or so we thought.
