First round of 86 Challenge of the 2025. It was PB weather through out the day. I finally found some time to put the lower springs on and I didn't have time to do the alignment before the event. There was a bit unwanted toe changes and it caused the tire to overheat a bit faster. So far the car was doing OK at bumps, but now with slightly higher spring rate, the car felt a bit low on compression damping. The balance also felt a bit off today as the car was a bit unstable at turn entry at first 2 laps and eventually very understeery in the last few laps. It could be due to the toe changes caused the tire to overheat in a weird way. At the end of the day, I did a 2:06.3 lap with 2:05.3 theoretical optimal. Good for a P2 finish in the street class. Will fix the alignment before next event.
