First day out with the Exige S at BHF! After several sessions, I built up to similar lap times to the Z, starting at a first session best of 1:23.405.
As the day progressed, with passengers, I got one session at 1:19.883, and another at 1:20.075. Certainly more in the car without a passenger, but will need to still get used to it more!
Setup wise, I was also able to dial out about 5 degrees AOA on the wing compared to Autobahn thanks to Singular endplates. Though, with the lower speeds at BHF, definitely have to get used to low speed hard braking into turns. Fortunately, the off was pretty mild, and I was just shaken a bit.
The brakes were my main worry that day. At BHF, they felt less confidence inspiring than the CP9668's on the Z. Aero still feels lacking at the front, but less drastic than at ABCC. Just turn 3 felt bad for front grip.-
It felt fantastic to be back, even at BHF, and the group we ran with, RevMatch, was very well run.
