2022 NASA National Championship race at Laguna Seca this year was interesting to say the least. Just like years previous, drama up till the last moment.
This is the "Group E - ST2, ST4, AIX" Championship race on Sunday.
With the previous group having a rain race about 15 seconds off their pace, and light rain continuing up until 20 minutes before the start of our race, I opted for 7 HC street tires, instead of 2 HC Hoosiers. I chose wrong.
It was interesting but unsurprising to see how many downfalls my car has vs. a sea of well equipped BMW's.
Here's my in-car footage, you can draw your own conclusions and opinions of the racing.
Started 10th, Finished 12th, but 10th officially with some DQ's handed out post-race.
Happy to have made it out without a scratch.
