my second visit to mandalika and i got my new PB (personal best) laptime of 1:57.5 using Michelin PS5 265, on damp track condition… which only mean one thing… i have to go back and try more to beat my own best time… there is still so much to learn and i got reminded few basics that i learnt long time ago… completely different driving and setup to Sentul, but i am still adapting… i still make so many mistakes and still adjusting my brakes… this track demands smooth yet aggressive driving. i am no expert yet but i will keep improving.
i am using ST coilover from @tembox_7 and i preload the spring 15mm more than recommended setting (140-160mm A height to 175 A height), i also set the rear straight up and lower it more than the front. made the balance 58/42… the best i can do for a budget coilover while i am saving up for much better track spec suspension. but i must say i am really really surprised on how well ST coilover perform for such a great price. really felt like much dearer priced coilover.
