Whittling down the time at Palmer. Aero is finished and is definitely doing a lot of work. My suspension is now way too soft (correction inbound with Penske 8300s and 800lb springs) so my splitter is actually hitting the track under compression. Titanium sliders are doing their job and making bitching sparks! This was the fastest lap of the day at the Mass Tuning Time Trials, so I walked away with the coveted Golden Cat. Tires were Pirelli scrubs that I bought used, but they seemed to be duds. I noticed no additional grip over the RT600s I started the day with. So with Hoosiers, new suspension, and better driving, I'll be in the 1:39s, which is where I left off in my C5 race car - but in my 3700lbs, 400whp street car C8. This platform is seriously impressive.
