VVT swapped NA Miata, 9LR dual element wing and air dam with large custom splitter, coilovers, and 205 SM7s from 2018.
I didn't record my last session because I thought with the place warming up, I wouldn't get any faster, but lo and behold I ran a string of PBs in a row, hah! This was the fastest from the previous session; needed some line cleanup but traffic wasn't bad (finally). I still think I'm being held back by old tires; I have some 2021 date code Hoosier SM7.5s, but back-to-back testing has shown they are not any faster (COTA 2022). Next up I'll *finally* try buying a new set of track tires for once, and hopefully that will give me the grip I'm looking for.
Also noting that the g-trace while driving is a tick higher than what it's showing in the data log. On track it's saying consistently 1.3-1.4g in low-mid-speed turns, and 1.5 almost 1.6g in the higher speed turns.
Hopefully by my next video, I'll also have added some more front downforce, so either way the car should be faster. I can dial in more rear wing any time; it's really not angled/working hard at all since it's HUGE.
