What can I say...this thing takes the cake and your lunch money lol. I'm just impressed I was able to drive it like this as it's been a while since I flogged one hard. I did drive this car on lesser tires at MSR recently and was somewhat scared 😂, you can't see anything and the power is absurd. My C7 ZR1 M7 was much faster than this one...eek.

The last two laps were a 2:18, then 2:17.3. The AMG-GT4 car parked it on me in T1, which would've been a 2:15. Kick out the passenger and delete the traffic, I bet I could've done a 2:13 or so. The car is on narrow Michelin slicks but stock shocks/seat still. Don't forget that I'm shifting lol the shift speed is crucial for a quick lap time at COTA. Going sub 2:18 and rowing gears is no joke! I should've left it in 3rd gear in some areas, that load makes me nervous when I'm in a street car on slicks. I've broken axles in a multi-million dollar car, it can happen!

It's been 8 years now that the C7 has proven in data/video that it's the most capable street car platform for the money at COTA. Transaxle torque tube = 50/50... I bet you didn't know that this platform has the slowest wear rate on Hoosiers (per Hoosier employee)...why...balance baby!

I really love this car and the C7 will always be special for me. Forgot the logo, it's doesn't matter...it's about how it drives. Don't you just want it to work? Brake, accelerate, lay down power, turn...the fast laps don't look fast because the car is working, this car works!

BTW that shift knob and shifter is sold by LG Motorsports. I was a huge nerd on the tall knob for leverage and accuracy reasons growing up. If you want to shift fast and go fast, buy The Tobolowsky Tall Knob. I don't have financial ties by any means with the sales but I'll be there in spirit as it was grafted from my grip 😁😂
