The Goal was to get under 2 min with my e46 m3 with as simple setup as possible. I tried to hold back on upgrading as much as possible. The upgrades were due to trying out different setups. From KW v2 that blew to Ohlins, and a rear end reinforcement/rebuild ended up with a 3.91 gearing. I've been stuck at 2.01 for the last 2+ years, doing 3-4 track days a year if my car wasn't down.The weight reduction and alignment is probably the biggest contributing factor to increase my confidence in the car, combined with more seat time experience.
