Electing to take my daily to make things easier, I packed the normal track and camping gear but left the tent at home. Meaning the Civic pulled triple duty by being the road-trip car, the race car, and the camper. Getting 41mpg on the way down, you'd think she wouldn't be too capable on track. Though I was holding back a bit, she truly held her own and allowed me to really learn the track in both the dry and wet.
Though the lap has a few mistakes, and I was not taking the optimal line as I looked for grip in the mixed conditions, the car felt fast and kept instilling more and more confidence in me. Knowing the main goal was to learn the track so we can come back with the Miata in our quest for a TT6 Podium, I was happy with the way the Civic did all weekend and how it handled the rain and AMP as a whole.
