Cd Sport - Circuit De Folembray

The Cd Sport - Circuit De Folembray is a 13-turn, 1.24-mile (1.99-km) raceway carved in a stretch patch of woodland in the northeastern side of the town of Folembray, France. There are tall trees around the Folembray road course, formed by 13 turns, most of these fast-paced sweepers, with only three tight-angles corners in turns five, 11, and 12. The climate is temperate a pleasant year-round, with little snow in winter and cool temperatures in summers. Another particularity is that half of the track goes uphill until reaching the hairpin at turn number five when it starts going downhill for the remaining trajectory of the circuit.    

A lap around the Circuit De Folembray usually takes under a minute to complete, on an average lap time of 0:58. The average speed of 77 mph (123 km/h) feels a lot faster when you are behind the wheel trying to stay in control along this narrow raceway where drivers are prone to commit mistakes. There are two heavy braking sectors in the whole track, many acceleration segments, and no room for distractions as this apparently easy-to-drive circuit can get you out of track at any minute.
