Stoked to finally get to run 'Summit Point Main' with NASA Mid Atlantic region for June Joust 2022. Always a great time running with friends and meeting new ones in the paddock.

First time out at Summit Point with NASA MA region. I want to thank the MA guys for the epic Awards Ceremony and the staff for the awesome Southern cooking.

Summit Main makes for a super versatile driving experience with loads of diversity within the elevation and terrain. T3 - T9 defines Summit Main as T3 is a ''balls out'' up hill sweeper that demands smooth inputs and a balanced machine offering very little room for line error. This leads to the WICKED 110mph downhill sweeper of T4 with an almost immediate HARD downhill brake zone on exit on approach to T5 entry. Count on that trail braking and inside road camber to rotate the car through T5 into the tight chicane entering even more camber through T6 which leads to the wonderful T7 to T9 esses of Summit Main.

I missed the TT5 track record by (0.3) seconds which was set in early 'November 2018' in an S2000 by Samed R. I can only wish for cooler temps next time out since this June Joust event exceeded 87F this weekend and was a windless, muggy sauna in the paddock. Overall an excellent weekend running with the MA TT guys and I am stoked to be apart of it all.
