Narain Karthikeyan is an Indian racing driver. He made history as the first Indian to compete in Formula 1, debuting in 2005 with the Jordan team. Known for his determination, he also raced for the HRT team. Karthikeyan has a strong motorsport background, with success in various series including A1 Grand Prix and endurance racing.
In late 2018 Narain Karthikeyan, at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3, broke the lap record for production cars at the Buddh International Circuit or BIC, India's only F1 race track. But he knew he could go faster, and so did we. So now, at the helm of Porsche's most potent 911 ever - the 700hp GT2 RS - he's smashed his own previous record with an astonishing time of 2.00.266.
