My dad has ridden along with me on a few track days and has some serious performance cars of his own. He has a couple of C8 Vettes, and with his latest we (a friend and I) convinced him to go to the Ron Fellows Corvette owner's school at Spring Mountain in Nevada. If you buy a new Corvette you need to go, the school is top notch. This video shows a couple of his laps on the West track at Spring Mountain. The audio really shows how the instructors work with you from their lead car to help get the best experience. Pretty much everybody in these classes is new to track driving and the instructors do a great job of helping to build confidence. You are never too old to get out there, here's a 75 year old track newbie proving that.
