Wasn't feeling very confident in the car in the morning, and still trying to relearn how to brake effectively with the new booster delete and StopTech kit. Then wasted 2nd session by not checking fuel level and just sputtered around with fuel starvation.
3rd session the temps came up quicker and I finally started to build some confidence and momentum in the session and chip away at the laptime. Did a couple mid 40's then caught traffic so I backed up and then went for another flyer on lap 6...
Improved a little bit here and there, bit also lost a little in a couple spots, still far from perfect overall, got a better run up turn 6 and finally saw the 1:39.9 predictive towards the end of the lap until a BMW ahead of the Civic in front of me really slowed into T11 and the Civic had to brake early, so I couldn't brake late and carry the entry speed in... Might've been enough to just nick into the 39's and even win the class, but I had to settle for this 1:40.1 as my best of the day. (1st place was 1:39.9, 2nd 1:40.0 🥲)
