This is our first time to drive this car on track since 2008, right before we sold it. We bought this E30 back in August of 2024 and spent 6 months restoring the car, upgrading a few things, and finally got it track worthy in February of 2025. We took this our to MSR Cresson on Feb 7, 2025 to get a baseline lap with the car - from which we could build upon.

Terry took 6 laps in the car to set tire pressures and dampers, then turned it over to Amy with a hot pit swap. She drove 5 laps, then came in. We were essentially tied on the lap times, 1:31.3 to a 1:31.4.

Terry was sick with a cold, but after a quick bite to eat Amy felt like going back out to try to reset the car's baseline lap - and she found a second, dropping to a 1:30.4 best. This will be the baseline lap we use to compare for our next track test - hopefully with a 3.7L Honda J-series V6 and 3x the power. Then we have extensive suspension development that should help lower the time further. Thanks for watching!
