My first track day in the 2017 C7 Grand Sport with the Katech 427. Boy this thing rips. Ran a couple 1:49s in traffic and then ran into some gremlins that neutered the rest of my day. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the result. Coming from the Camaro, this thing has way more power and way less aero. Very unstable in some spots but way faster in others (+17mph on the main straight!). Running 305/30R19 in the front is giving me some fender rubbing issues, but the slightly narrower than stock 325s (narrower???) in the rear still hooked and went. We'll see if a tweak to the DSC shocks can help alleviate the rubbing. I think if I get a clean run, she'll put down a 1:45 no problem. I just gotta get comfortable and let her eat!!
