Alessandro Sensoli is an amateur racing driver with 31 recorded laps across 3 different vehicles on LapMeta, averaging 10.3 laps per car. This high concentration ratio indicates focused development approach typical of dedicated track day enthusiasts. Sensoli grew up in Italy with motorsport coursing through his veins—his father started him in motocross at young age, but when his father passed shortly after Alessandro's sixteenth birthday, his racing stopped and he eventually pursued career in medical equipment industry.
After relocating from Rome to the Bay Area in California, Sensoli initially tried American football but lingering rugby injuries prevented playing at competitive level. Seeking competition with less physical contact, he returned to motorsport in fall 2017, attending track days in his new Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. He later upgraded to 2018 Ford Mustang GT with Performance Pack and 10-speed automatic gearbox, targeting sub-1:40 lap times at Laguna Seca in the 3,700-pound pony car.
His LapMeta data shows 6 laps at Big Willow, 6 laps at 13CW, and 5 laps Pre 2023 configuration, with the concentrated 3-vehicle portfolio likely representing his personal ownership progression from Challenger through Mustang iterations. The 10.3 average laps per vehicle demonstrates commitment to development rather than sampling—investing time to truly understand each platform's capabilities and optimize his driving technique for specific chassis characteristics.
Sensoli's story represents the returning enthusiast: motorsport passion instilled in youth, interrupted by life circumstances, ultimately reignited decades later when career success enables pursuit of deferred dreams. His progression from Challenger to Mustang GT shows methodical approach to performance driving—each platform taught lessons informing next step. With 31 laps across 3 vehicles, Alessandro Sensoli exemplifies the dedicated amateur who treats track days as serious skill development, honoring his father's memory through renewed motorsport participation.
Second time with the Mustang here at Laguna. 103Db day with SPEED SF.
I did my best Lap of the day in my first session. the track was slippery. Laguna just recently reopen so 3 months without trackdays/racing made the asphalt not so grippy. PREDICTED TIME WAS 1:35.4 Then Traction Control Issues ( you can notice clearly it before CORKSCREW and on the straight..but it was there at every turn exit)due to some problems with my transmission did the rest. I hope I'm not breaking the second gearbox..
the day has been..intense. A DEAR FRIEND HITTING A WALL, ME flying at the corkscrew and destroy my splitter.. TRANSMISSION failing...
but
Hope you enjoy.
