thank you Victor for asking me to test his car. E30 always excites me ❤️ this car is a great potential build that needs refinement. first of all i love the engine response. it is probably half bar because it is just enough boost and not too much kicks mid corner… turbo size alwo felt right almost oem. the suspension is good. light short wheelbase RWD needs a good suspension…
the part needs improvement and refinement, first is the brakes… wit) additional power of course you need bigger brakes… but e30 brake master is already inadequate travel in stock position. we need to pump. in his case, the master cylinder pressure is already too weak that we need to pump even more…
alignment need more toe in at the back and abit more camber. you can buy the rear trailing arm camber and toe adjustment plates to be welded on the car. need abit more front neg camber and front caster.
dangerous part is the throttle often stuck open due to rust throttle cable. replace immediately… this often happen when you downshift and diving into corners after you press the throttle pedal wide open on long sweeper. this is dangerous. i had to manually pull the pedal up with my toes
seat bracket is abit too high and hence it flex alot during cornering… i recommend lower only the back side and leave the front part under our thigh as it is… common mistake in making custom seat braket is making the seat lower part flat… seat need to tilt up abit to keep our but in the slope… otherwise we will keep sliding forward under hard braking…
overall, this is a fast E30. i predict 2:00 laptime but we just cannot brake and cannot enter the corner fast enough… good job for first mandalika test
