This was my second time at Thunderhill but my first time ever doing the 5-mile configuration. We did the Cyclone on the East track but used the bypass for the West track. I was still using my Sport Cup 2 tires but they were at the end of their life. They felt greasy all day long and I never really felt confident in them. By my 4th session, they got corded and I had to call it a day. My best time of the day was this 3:23.05 during my second session out.
