First time at CMP and it's a really fun track! Made improvement throughout the weekend and I think by this session there wasn't a whole lot left to get out of the car. A second or so I'd say. I had a 1:45.6 or something like that predicted on the last lap but the wire I had holding up my exhaust (the hanger broke the previous session) failed in the kink and I backed off and pitted. One of the SpecE46 racers got a 1:43 so I was very happy with the times I got considering how much more money goes into one of them compared to my car - and the fact it was my first time here. I even had the corner worker from turn 7 come up to me during lunch Sunday and he said I was doing better through there than anyone else this weekend!
Shifting into 3rd for the 1st carousel was a bit quicker, but I was experimenting with leaving it in 4th this session. My car was having trouble with a bump there and it made getting power down consistently pretty difficult. Leaving it in 4th helped with consistency but if I got it right in 3rd gear it was a couple tenths quicker.
Fun track and NASA-SE was great! Likely coming back for next year!
