HPR Cust Appreciation 12-27-2022 - 1984 BMW 318i 'Melony'

Winter lapping at High Plains Raceway was adjusted from Full course layout to North course layout.

First time driving this layout and it was quite fun. In the fast group, hence all the high end cars passing me! Most of the day was in my 1998 M3, but I got a session in the watermelon and recorded it with gopro. Very easy to drive now that the adjustments to the suspension were made with a appropriate spring selection. Some moisture on the track from snowmelt but overall a good day!

Laps consistently improving from the original 1:44 down to a best of 1:37 right before the checker for the session.

'$500' BMW 318i for 24 hours of LeMons. BMW M42 with 5 speed.
