My first time at this great new track near Dallas, Texas! I drove for less than an hour and some of that was cooldown laps since it was about 94°F so I'm sure there is still a lot more lap time on the table. This is the full 3.1 mile course although the track can be divided into two smaller independent track layouts. I was still trying different lines through some corners so the line in this video is probably not optimal plus I missed some apexes. The red and yellow curbs are smooth and usable (except I personally didn't like using the carousel apex curb) although you can see PTM tends to kick in when coming off of the curbs under power so if you have traction/stability control off be ready in case you might need some steering correction in those spots. Before turning into the last corner I was going too fast and understeered while trying to brake and steer left to set up before turn in plus I over slowed. You can also see that I was not fully utilizing the available grip in many places by looking at the traction circle graph meaning I could have carried higher minimum speed through some corners, braked a bit later, and/or got back to full throttle sooner.

Turns 5a and 5b from Mosport are replicated at this track along with a heavily banked carousel from the Nurburgring! Those happen to be my favorite corners at this track. There is a chicane available after the right hand turn following the longest straightaway but it was not in use.

Here is a video from a more experienced driver at this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY_xfB_Att4

Note: Cosworth Toolbox shows this track layout as 2.96 miles. I guess the 3.1 mile distance mentioned online may be counting the chicane. Cosworth is usually within a few hundredths of the advertised lengths of other tracks I have been to.

Sorry the PDR track map and lap timer stopped working when I took a short break. I overlaid a screenshot of the track map from when it was working; the start finish is at the red dot which is roughly where the video starts and ends. Because I did not delete another track's start/finish line (.map.gpx file) from the SD card beforehand I think that might have caused the issue. I created the track in Cosworth Toolbox from the first session and it showed 2:26.95 for my last hot lap (this one) which closely matched the lap time on the custom track I created with Harry's Lap Timer with 10Hz GPS (2:26.97) and the duration of the lap in my video editor.

2017 Camaro SS 1LE. Unmodified engine using PTM Sport 2, 2017 & 2018 date code Goodyear Supercar 3 (220 treadwear) tires with nearly new tread depth, track alignment (camber: -2.2° front, -1.8° rear, toe: +0.05° front on each side, some toe in for the rears), SPL Rear Toe Links with Eccentric Lockout, BMR BK063 Rear Diff Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit, FEA front lower front control arms from ZL1 1LE (since stock fluid filled bushings leaked), 2021 SS 1LE ABS control module (EBCM) to get better ice mode calibration (found on 2019+ SS 1LEs) which prevents intermittent hard brake pedal and reduced stopping force in bumpy braking zones, Castrol SRF DOT 4 brake fluid, stock Brembo (Ferodo HP1000/1) brake pads, GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors, smaller GM metal brake dust / splash shields, Ikon Motorsports 2019+ stock style 3 piece front splitter. The car is in track mode with touring steering mode and track exhaust mode. Ambient temperature was about 94°F, about 52% humidity.
