Batangas Racing Circuit Примечания:
The Ridge Motorsports Park is a motorsport facility located near Shelton, Washington, approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) northwest of Olympia. The road circuit was designed by Steve Crawford, designer of Thunderhill Raceway Park, and features one of the most challenging layouts in the Pacific Northwest. The circuit measures 2.47 miles (3.98 kilometers) in length and is 40 feet (12.2 meters) wide, featuring 16 turns with over 300 feet (91 meters) of elevation gain and loss per lap.
The track is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes, including the signature 50-foot plunge down the Ridge Complex. Each lap delivers an intense driving experience with high-speed straights and sweeper turns, huge compressions and blind weightless crests, challenging esses, and a long carousel turn where drivers must balance speed and grip. The layout features a double apex turn leading to another valley and cresting turn that leads into a heavy braking zone, followed by a short sprint between tight turns, and concludes with the breathtaking plunge down the ridge into a technically difficult sequence of turns. In 2020, The Ridge added a chicane to the 2,850-foot (870-meter) front straight to slow down superbikes ahead of its inaugural MotoAmerica event, though use of the chicane is optional for each sanctioning body and track day organizer. The facility has become a premier destination for motorsport enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest.
