Mallala Motorsport Park
Mallala Motorsport Park Notes:
Mallala Motorsport Park is a 2.601-kilometer (1.616-mile) bitumen motor racing circuit near the town of Mallala in South Australia, located 55 kilometers (34 miles) north of the state capital, Adelaide. The Mallala Race Circuit, as it was originally known, was established on the site of the former RAAF Base Mallala. The circuit features 10 turns and is known in racing circles as a "real driver's track" with highly demanding conditions featuring a variety of bends, curves, straights, and an unusual shape.
Gradual improvements have been made to the facility over the years, including the resurfacing of the Turn 5 hairpin prior to the 2020 season, the introduction of the Kartdrome in 2021, and upgrades to permit National Series competition throughout 2025. Following the passing of owner Clem Smith in February 2017, the Peregrine Corporation, owners of The Bend Motorsport Park, purchased the complex and took over operations in May 2017, ensuring the circuit's continued development and operation as an important South Australian motorsport facility.
