The Autodrome Montmagny is a multi-purpose motor racing complex with a 1.2-mile (1.93-km) road course, a 3/8-mile oval track, and a drag strip located in Montmagny, an hour ride away from Quebec, Canada. The complex opened its doors in 1994, with an oval dirt track paved four years later, and incorporated the road course in 2014. Several local stock car competitions use this raceway, such as the American Canadian Tour, Sportsman Quebec, etc. The Continental climate of this region is harsh, with cold & snowy winters and hot summers, and with lots of rainfall throughout the year, so racing over a wet surface is normal at Montmagny.
The Montmagny circuit starts on the slightly banked oval track straight, and turn number one gets even steeper. The racers exit the oval at turn two and go downhill at three. The 90-degree corner number four gives way to a downhill stretch going through turns five, six, seven, and nine. Drivers re-enter the oval at turn ten, where they take their speed up one more time to complete the loop and keep on racing.
