Apex Lap Attack Round 3 at MSR 3.1 config. After running in 3rd most of the day and struggling to get under 2:20, I finally gathered up my focus, studied some data, and shut off traction control (and maybe some sanity) to try beat P2 who was just 0.5 sec ahead of me. I didn't realize I was going to uncork almost 3 seconds to jump to P1 and win the day.

This should be a lesson to those competing in anything at all (but mostly a lesson for my children): KEEP WORKING FOR EXCELLENCE. Stay in the game, even if you're not winning. And even if you do win, keep learning and finding ways to be a better version of yourself. You never know when an opportunity may come to learn something important about yourself. It might be my only victory all year, so it's best place to put in a positive message.

Thanks to Apex Driving Academy for organizing the event and my competitors Brian Stone and Grant Ellis for making me work for this one. Special thanks to @Adam Tobolowsky for his sage advice on how to extract the most I can out of this car and myself, and Corey at GSpeed for some last minute data analysis and help me plan this lap.
