The conditions were pretty far from perfect at MVP track Time's Road America Oct 2025 event, but there was enough dry to get a session or two of faster laps in this trip. It was still cold and the wind was blowing like stink but at least the track was dry and the new tires were able to get some bite on the concrete. With these new Azenis 660+ tires I think I really could have knocked down my lap times if the conditions were better. I turned consistent low 2:52-2:53 with some traffic the entire session and finally got enough clear to get this 2:51 on the second to last lap. The car has low to mid 2:40s in it on the right day, I just have to be the right driver on that day. Maybe next year. The car is my 1999 Porsche 996, 100K+ miles with lots of suspension mods and stock engine power.
