I finally managed to hit the track again after a long hiatus, partly due to work and business and partly to avoid the scorching summer heat in the desert.

Since my last visit in February I made some modifications to the stock suspensions to achieve a decent track alignment by adding adjustable rear toe control arms and camber plates.

The track was configured as clockwise: while I hadn't run in this direction in quite a while, I was very excited because with more experience under the belt and a new track alignment I was looking forward to improving my personal best.

I used the first session in the morning to get back up to speed with the track configuration, then in the second session I went on to push harder trying to get a good time before the track temperature would become too high.

I consistently managed to run lap times in the 1:58s - 1:59s range, with a new personal best of 1:58.278s, however the lap-to-lap consistency hasn't been great, making small mistakes in different spots at basically every lap.
While this isn't great, I am clearly leaving good chunks of lap-time on the table, and this gives me confidence that there's still room for improvement.

The new alignment clearly improved grip and tire wear, however the car still suffers from some mid-corner understeer, which I will try to address by setting the rear sway bar to its stiffest setting.
