1.47.22 personal best from my 4th time running Sonoma in the F80.
Pretty much nailed what I was anticipating for the weekend. Fitting as this was the 30th event with the car! Had not ran RE71-RS with the F80 here before today. NT01 or Conti ECF prior.

Last Sonoma I ran a 1.49.48 on 30+ heat cycle - dead Continental ECF tires. Sorta knew there were a few seconds hiding in that time on fresh grippy tires.
Ran several mid 47s throughout the day and can definitely feel an easy 46 with another go. Not sure there is a ton more time to shave off with my current build. Maybe a 45? Beyond that would be pretty sketch without aero. Was on target for 46 a few times but hit traffic or fucked it up.

This was the first event in 4~ years I ran the GTS tune over the CS Bootmod3. Kinda feel dumb not running it all these years. Much better with managing the torque on the low end. Which was a problem. It does slightly drop off at the last 700 rpms or so. Felt like the B58 does when you max the turbo out. Same sorta drop off just a tad shorter. Small upshift before the tip top of revs is worth it.

Iracing just revamped the Sonoma track model last week. Spent most the week practicing with the F82 GT4 car. Few specific corners I was drilling fairly hard and it all panned out pretty well in real life. If you want to drive smooth in real life. I cant stress the importance of sim time. Keeps you fresh and tuned in.

Notes:
T1: Liked this line but not enough throttle on lead up to hill. Minor.
T4: Maybe a tad early turn in. Lost a tenth or so on exit.
T6: Not terrible but I hugged the left a little too much on entry this lap. Negligible.
T7: Small skid out. Tenth or so.
T8: Might have over done the safety brake tap before committing to esses.
T10: Downshifted odd. Thought I was 5-4 but was 4-3. Tenths here.
Camera: was angled poorly

My camber is very conservative as it is my daily and not a dedicated track car. -3/-1.7.
That was not enough with Nitrons + RE71 + 30 profile + very fast pace. I rolled over a lot today and corded a small area on the rear left outside :/ Only had about ~13 sessions on them. Need to go -3.6/2.2 or so.
