His LapMeta data shows systematic exploration: 5 laps at CW configuration, 5 laps at North Track-CW, and 4 laps at Full Course. This balanced distribution demonstrates how one platform responds to varied track demands—from technical CW layouts to North Track configurations to Full Course challenges. The methodology builds comprehensive vehicle expertise transcending single venue familiarity, understanding platform behavior across complete capability spectrum. Single-vehicle specialists often develop mastery enabling lap times rivaling professional drivers through intimate knowledge of every characteristic, optimal technique for every condition, and absolute confidence extracting maximum performance. With 40 laps concentrated in single vehicle across three different configurations, cdrptrks exemplifies the ultimate specialist philosophy: achieving profound platform mastery through systematic repetition enabling expertise impossible through casual variety.
For reference, the best stock 6th Gen SS 1LE lap time I could find for this track was 1:23.05 in PTM Race by another driver in the video below in November 2020. It looks like he visited when the track had just been repaved so the surface might have been smoother than it was for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h58E5hyYSR4&t=93s
This is my best lap so far at Harris Hill since the full repave in 2020 but you can see there is more in it from looking at the g meter overlay in the lower left corner, plus I've only been to 3 single day afternoon events here since the full repave and when I went in June 2021 it was hot so it was harder to set fast lap times compared to my other visits in March and November.
SCCA Track Night in America, Advanced Group, 3rd and final session that started at about 6:30pm.
I accidentally ended up in Track mode without PTM activated (so traction and stability control were on) for this session and didn't realize that was why the car's handling felt different until afterwards. It actually seemed to help my lap times compared to the previous 2 sessions with everything off and the 3 sessions I did in November 2022 using PTM. Earlier in this session I also did a 1:24.22 and a 1:24.57.
I still had the original ABS Module during this event and I was fighting unpredictable decel rate and braking distance due to the bumpy braking zone causing "ice mode" after the fast right hander (turn 6). In the previous session I went off into the grass (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLDWA4nfqX0) because ice mode prevented me from slowing down quickly enough although I was putting max force through the hard brake pedal, so my confidence took a hit from that for this 3rd and final session of the day. I went back to Harris Hill on 11/2/2022 with a newer ABS Module installed that I bought from a totaled 2019+ Camaro SS 1LE and it fixed the ice mode issues (allowing a few more mph top speed before braking for turn 7 and higher braking g-force) but my best was a partial lap at 1:24.7 pace in PTM Race before I caught traffic and took a point by off line in turn 10. The track did get noticeably more bumpy in those 8 months which didn't help.
Note: Clockwise seems to be the normal direction for this track although I have seen that they sometimes run it CCW.
2017 Camaro SS 1LE with unmodified engine in Track mode with traction and stability control on by accident, OEM Goodyear Supercar 3 tires, BMR Suspension BK063 rear cradle bushing lockout kit, track alignment with strut mod for some extra front camber (camber: -2.8° front, -1.4° rear, toe: 0° front, +0.05° rear per side [+0.10° total rear toe]), Castrol React SRF DOT 4 brake fluid, stock Brembo (Ferodo HP1000/1) brake pads, GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors, smaller GM metal brake dust / splash shields. The car is in track mode with touring steering mode. Ambient temperature was about 72°F with wind about 8mph from SSE. My gas tank was probably close to empty during this lap but I don't remember for sure.
