981 Cayman base model, Ohlins R&T coilovers, front GT3 LCAs, Cobb tune (just for fun), Sebro slotted rotors, Ferodo DS2500 pads, Apex SM-10 wheels, Michelin PS4S tires.

Second track meet of 2024, first time at PIR this year. Fresh DS2500 brake pads, still on last year's tires, I think I have one more weekend out of these before I'll need new tires.

Took me most of Saturday to get used to the track, which usually happens at the start of a year. Had an instructor ride along with me for a session and got some great suggestions to try with braking and downshifting, which I'll be experimenting with in future sessions. Specifically T10 - I wasn't downshifting at the end of the straight, staying in 4th until T12. This was the first session where I tried downshifting there, and now I see that I can move my braking point in a bit, because the car slows down a lot with the gear change. And it also means one less thing to worry about at T12.
