My goal for this event was to hit a sub 2 minute laptime. That obivously didn't happen, but I was able to get a lot closer than my previous attempt of a 2:03.7. This lap was set on my second session of the day on lap 3 or 4. I finally felt confident with the new tires and started to push the lap a bit more. 

I missed my braking point going into sunset the next lap and aborted for a cool down. When I got back on it again, the car lost all top end power and my 2:01 pace turned into a 2:07 pace. Very frustrating to lose power like that, so I came in to diagnose. I wasn't able to remedy the issue at the track so the 2:01 lap was the best I could do that day.

This was set at Round 8 of the 2021 Nissan Challenge hosted by SpeedVentures. This lap was an improvement on my previous Class 4 track record by 2 seconds!

I'm hoping to fix my issues with the car and come back soon while the tires are fresh and try to find that last 1.7 seconds of pace.
