NASA put on a great event this weekend and I entered as TTU so I didn't have to add weight and/or retune the car. TTU ended up with a sizable class and was a ton of fun. This was my first experience on race tires and I picked up some takeoff Michelin N2/3 slicks in 25/64-18 and 30/65-18 wrapped on my @apexwheels VS-5RS 18x10 & 18x12.

It wasn't until it was too late that we learned we were going in the wrong direction on tire pressures, which were too low. In the last session, I went back to higher pressures and the grip came back! But I couldn't get a lap in. Every session had the potential for a 1:34 but I couldn't get the right opportunity. There is always more to shoot for so I'll take it as a great learning experience.

I have not researched it yet but, could this be a street car record? LMK? My best time from the weekend ended up as a 1:35.1. I've already completed a 1:37.0 CCW on A052 so I know I can 34-35 CCW for the record.
