1999 BMW E36 M3 with S54 (328 whp SAE5) at 2540 lbs with fuel and driver (estimated - need to re-corner balance). 245/40/17 Hoosier A7 (2nd event). Round 11 of Bimmer Challenge at Chuckwalla CCW. First time at Chuckwalla with the aero and no practice before the event so had to learn quick! Haven’t been out here since the beginning of the year so it was a nice reminder why I love this place. Progressively added the sauce throughout Saturday and uncharacteristically put down my fastest lap in session 3. Not a perfect lap but really content with being able to get up to speed in 6 laps and snag the record. Hope to get back out while temps are still low with a fresh set of tires and chase 44’s.
