My first ever session in a R8 LMS (GTC class) @ ningbo circuit, managed a quick lap of 1:50 at lap 22 with as is setup and worn out tires. Aiming 47-48 after dialing in. The car drives very different from the Formula 4 car I raced last weekend: 1) slower motion and more body roll 2) tons more power 3) MUCH more downforce.
I did this lap with a very front bias 60/40 front brake bias that has likely put a heavy toll on the front tires but somehow gave me huge front end bite for trail braking (obviously instant lock up after some drizzle lol). Overall, loved the car but wish i had one more dry session with proper setup and new tires to hit 47, GT3 class cars run around 44-45 so ~+3 is the goal. Will be back for
