This is a 1:19:99 lap at Blackhawk farms Raceway on 9/27 in a stock 991.1 with 300 treadwear tires and street pads. I'm sure I can knock off a couple seconds with cup 2s and pagid yellows but for whats on the car I'm thrilled with the results. 

Blackhawk, SCCA and NASA don't keep track of track records based off make/model, only based off class. So this is not a record in anyway and is completely made up and unsubstantiated for sure. But the consensus from the guys at the track is that "its got to be close" so if you have a 991 carrera and have run a faster time at Blackhawk or know someone who has please let me know and ideally send me a video so I can see where I can improve. That would be greatly appreciated. 

I am driving a 2014 991.1 Carrera 2 S on michelin PS4S tires and Ferodo 2500 brake pads. Only modification to the car is a Soul Performance valved cat back exhaust and lots of gopros.

My goal is to go from never being on a racetrack to winning a wheel to wheel race in 5 years. This channel is every step of that journey. We are currently in phase 2; climbing the HPDE ranks.

Phase 2: Climbing the HPDE ranks from the novice group up to advanced
Phase 3: Getting a racing license
Phase 4: Buying a race car and choosing a racing series
Phase 5: My first wheel to wheel race
Phase 6: Finish midpack in a race
Phase 7: Finish on a podium in a race
Phase 8: Reach end goal of winning my first wheel to wheel race.
