I qualified P4 for my first race in SRF and I make a bunch of rookie mistakes.

Had a decent start with some close driving at turn 1 where I get a pass made around the outside of 3 and take it at 4. All of my passes in this car this weekend happened around the outside of 3 :)
I had a mega moment on the opening lap at turn 8 due to a late turn in.
At eye-level, being on the bumper of another SRF is sorta like driving behind one of those Cybertrucks. The advice I was given a while ago to "look through the car" didn't help in that moment as I stared in the back of that colossal bumper trying to anticipate if the driver in front of me was going to lift or not.
Due to that correction at 8, I almost had contact going into turn 9 that would have been my fault for not leaving racing room. From my perspective laying down in the car, what I can see in the mirrors is rather limited. If 180 degrees would be directly behind me, then I can see, to my left, a range of around 165 -135 degrees. He pulled off far to the left then vanished into my blind spot. It wasn't until I turned in did I notice he was there. Gotta remember to physically look next time if I loose sight in my mirrors.. It's difficult to adjust the line that late but I managed to inch away as the overtaking driver backed out of it.
I had pace, evident by me rapidly closing the gap every time I made a mistake, but these mistakes ended up costing me a chance to attack for P3.
The camera froze again near the end of the race so I'm sorry about that. My good camera fell off the car during the test day and stopped working.
I finishing P4/13 for my first time out here in this class with the second fast lap (2:00:027), off by less than a tenth of second from the fastest (1:59.932).
